Privacy Policy
BoardingKit is a product of Arc Digital LLC
Effective September 5, 2026
1. Our approach to privacy
BoardingKit is a booking and scheduling app for dog boarding and daycare operators, made by Arc Digital LLC ("Arc Digital," "we," "our," or "us"), a software company based in the United States. It is built privacy-first: your clients, pets, bookings, and records live on your device and sync only through your own private iCloud. Arc Digital does not collect or access the client, pet, booking, vaccination, reminder, or business records you enter in BoardingKit. This policy explains how BoardingKit and the boardingkit.com website handle information.
2. Information we collect
Arc Digital does not collect or access the records you enter. BoardingKit has no accounts, no sign-up, and no Arc Digital servers. Everything you enter — client details, pet profiles, bookings, vaccination records, and reminders — is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, synced to your private iCloud account. We cannot see, access, or retrieve any of it.
The only information handled outside your device and private iCloud relates to App Store purchases and subscription status, which are processed by Apple and RevenueCat, and any message you send us directly for support. Both are described below.
The App contains no analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not collect analytics, usage data, advertising identifiers, or location data from the App, it sets no cookies or tracking technologies on your device, and we keep no logs of your activity in it. Our marketing website at boardingkit.com is separate and does use advertising cookies, which are described in section 3.
3. The boardingkit.com website
This section covers our marketing website only. It does not apply to the App, which collects nothing, and none of what follows touches the client, pet, booking, or vaccination records you keep in BoardingKit — those never leave your device and private iCloud, and are not reachable from the website.
We advertise BoardingKit through Google Ads, and the pages of boardingkit.com carry Google's advertising tag so we can tell which ads lead people to the App Store. When you visit the site, that tag sets a first-party cookie in your browser — Google's conversion linker cookie, which typically expires after 90 days — and sends Google your IP address, the page you are viewing, the page or ad that referred you, and basic browser and device information. Google processes that information as described at policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We use this only to measure advertising performance in aggregate. We do not run ads inside the App, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors. That said, this is advertising technology operated by a third party: under the California Consumer Privacy Act and comparable US state laws, our use of it may count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so we describe it plainly here rather than claim otherwise.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked before any of these cookies are set, and nothing is measured unless they accept. Everywhere else the cookies are set on arrival, and you can turn them off at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser, or adjust your Google ad settings at myadcenter.google.com. Declining does not affect the website or the App in any way.
4. iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, BoardingKit uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data across your own devices through your private iCloud database. That data is handled by Apple under your iCloud account and Apple's terms; Arc Digital has no access to it and receives nothing from it. You can review Apple's privacy practices at apple.com/legal/privacy. Sync requires no action from us and involves no Arc Digital infrastructure.
5. The information you keep about your clients
BoardingKit is a tool for running your business, so the records you enter include information about your own clients and their pets. That information is yours, kept on your device and your private iCloud the same way the rest of your data is — Arc Digital never sees it. As the person who collects it, you are responsible for handling your clients' information appropriately and for providing any notice or obtaining any consent your local laws require. Arc Digital does not determine how you collect, use, or manage your clients' information, and has no relationship with your clients.
6. Subscription and in-app purchase
BoardingKit is a subscription app. An auto-renewable subscription, billed monthly or annually, is required to add or change records; without one, the App stays read-only and your existing records remain visible. If you have not used it before, a 1-month free trial may be offered through the App Store.
When you subscribe, Apple processes the payment through your Apple ID; Arc Digital never receives or stores your payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage the subscription, including its status and the "Restore Purchase" function. To do so, RevenueCat and Apple process an app-specific or pseudonymous purchase identifier and your transaction and entitlement status. This is the only purchase-related information any third party handles on our behalf, and it relates solely to the purchase — never to your clients, pets, or bookings. Arc Digital and RevenueCat are based in the United States, so this limited purchase information is processed there. You can review their practices at revenuecat.com/privacy and apple.com/legal/privacy.
7. Support requests
If you email our support address, we receive your message, your email address, and anything you choose to include, so that we can respond. We use that information only to answer you and resolve your issue; we do not use it for marketing and we do not sell or share it. Contacting support does not give us access to the records you keep in the app.
8. What we never do
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not serve advertisements inside the App, and we never use the client, pet, booking, or vaccination records you enter for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than running the App on your device — we do not receive those records in the first place.
The one exception to that posture is the advertising measurement on our marketing website, described in section 3. That tagging is limited to website visits, and under some US state privacy laws it may count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can turn it off as described in that section. Aside from that, and the purchase and support information described above, we never receive your data.
9. Your data and your rights
Your data is yours and it stays with you. You can view, edit, or archive any record at any time within the app. To remove local data, delete the App from your device. To remove synced data, you may also need to delete BoardingKit's iCloud data in your device's iOS Settings. Because your records never leave your device and iCloud, access and control are built in — your records remain on your device and private iCloud, not on Arc Digital servers.
Depending on where you live, privacy laws grant rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. These include the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and comparable laws in other US states; the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation; Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act; the Australian Privacy Act; and the New Zealand Privacy Act.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you also have the right to object to or restrict our processing, to withdraw consent where we rely on it, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Because Arc Digital does not collect or store the records you enter in BoardingKit, there may be no app-record data on our side to act on. If you contact us for support, hold a subscription, or visit our marketing website, we may process the limited support, purchase-related, or website advertising information described in this policy. We handle that information to provide and support the App and to meet our legal obligations. If you believe we hold anything about you, or have any question about these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond consistent with applicable law.
10. Children's privacy
BoardingKit is a tool for businesses, and neither the App nor our marketing website is directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children: the App collects no personal information from anyone, and the website is a business marketing site whose only data collection is the advertising measurement described in section 3. If you have questions about this, contact us at the address below.
11. Security
Your data is protected by your device's security and, for sync, by Apple's iCloud encryption. Because there is no Arc Digital server database containing your app records, there is no central store on our side to breach. No system is perfectly secure, but keeping your data on your own device and private iCloud removes the largest risks of a server-based service.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the app. Your continued use of BoardingKit after a revised policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.
